twenty ten

Would somebody do some research and find out what we called the 1900s and 1910s back a hundred years ago, if we even referred to them as decades at the time? This whole "naughts" and "two-thousands" and "tens" and whatever is starting to get to me, and I'd like some historical precedent.

And for the record, I shall be referring to this year as "twenty-ten" instead of "two-thousand ten" for shortness reasons, slave to efficiency that I am. Hope you enjoy it!
