a month
Living in a state of Imminent Departure, even if imminent means a month, is a curious thing. Even though everything is viewed in the light of impermanence, life goes on. Some people bring it up every day --"ay Ben malapit na uuwi ka na!" Others not at all. I have lots of stuff to get rid of. Some going-away events to organize and paperwork to complete.
Currently the word "life" primarily signifies working on several projects for my school and playing ultimate, with large swathes of traveling time in between. Filler time is spent cooking and watching episodes of various television series on the computer.
After I leave, early this August, I will be backpacking around southeast asia for a month. Being a tourist should be fun. After I return it will be time to go around to the front of my life and give the hand crank a few turns.
