On the way to the cafe this evening a small bicycle carrying at least 4 but possibly as many as 6 kids passed by. As they left my field of vision someone yelled out my name. I was surprised, but less surprised than the time I was walking by the same place and a really loud firecracker blew up 10 feet from me.
